Everyone loved George but try as they might, no one really knew about much about his private life. That and his public life were entirely different. In our story, he is the head doorman and manager of 1500 Bay, a very high class condo complex in sight of the beautiful San Francisco Bay. He made the building function like that proverbial Swiss watch. Those who lived there were the rich, the powerful, and the upwardly mobile; the movers and shakers of the city by the Bay.
You will see how George interfaced with the lives of those in his complex, merely by being at the desk down in their lobby. He was the kind of person that you appreciated and trusted. Without any effort on his part, he just seemed to become your trusted friend, whom you felt free to confide in. Hence, 1500 Bay becomes the crucible where lives were changed.
