His Bug, really named June, was graduating from college and was ready to seek her master’s degree in social work. She had always wanted to follow in her father footsteps. He was a widely-respected psychologist who enjoyed his prosperous practice. But his daughter was not happy with where he was in his life.
Just as she was stepping into womanhood, she lost her mother and he lost his lover. So, before she put all her effort seeking her post graduate degree, she has one task to fulfill. She wanted her father married, whether he wanted to be or not. This is a story of how she proceeds to accomplish this.
As you can well imagine, the doctor was not all that willing to go along with her efforts. Humorous situations result, as he goes kicking and screaming into the dating scene. As all of this is happening, he is working with children in trouble, couples trying to avoid divorce, people who have gotten themselves in a mess and need help turning things around, and those whose mental state is balancing on the edge of disaster.
