Who says that older people can’t fall in love? This is a story of two such people who had lost their spouses and thought they were consigned to continue on in life, alone. Then, across a craps table in a swanky Los Vegas casino, they spotted each other. With a little help from the management, their cat and mouse game resulted in a romantic dinner. Soon after they began to discover that love could be theirs again.
They began to seriously court each other, deciding that real love had visited them a second time. But there was trouble on the horizon. Anton’s children were not willing to share his enthusiasm, especially his daughter. At once Bess was referred to as “her” and the daughter made the decision that she was not going to share Daddy with another woman.
The road was rocky but where there is love, the stones can be rolled out of the way. Anton and Bess prevailed and showed his children how to build a life of partnership and love. This is a real feel-good story.
